Posted - 08/11/2006 : 09:37:48 I thought it was worth starting a thread just for this front cover of the latest Bulletin which Paul Howes has kindly sent to me to post on the site. Anyone who does not subscribe to the Bulletin should do so--for all things Dusty. He does a wonderful job of keeping her memory alive.

Posted - 13/07/2008 : 19:17:10 It is nice to read something that Dusty wrote.
There is more to come in the next issue too.
Paul is also offering a 2009 caender providing he get enough interest..so please buy it cause I want one and it would be awful if this didn't get off the ground. I haven't read all the Bulletin yet...something for tomorrow.
Any other thought ....?

Posted - 12/07/2008 : 01:08:38 I love this cover photo.
I'd recommend the Dusty Springfield Bulletin to everyone here. It's always full of new Dusty related articles and old reprinted material that you just won't find anywhere else unless you collected everything in the 60s and 70s. You also get access to exclusive CDs, videos and DVDs.
This current Bulletin includes a re-print of a 1965 article that Dusty apparently wrote herself for the Woman's Own magazine. In this she tells us about her life so far and what drives her and how it is to be so famous. I've never ever read anything that was written by Dusty before so this is an absolute treasure.

Dare I suggest that if you do end up subscribing...you mention the Dusty Springfield Network (http://dustyspringfield.forumco.com) in passing?!

Posted - 23/05/2008 : 22:21:08 I remember an article in Rave Magazine with Dusty and that little monkey back in the 60's. I sure wish I still had that magazine. How do I put this, the little monkey relieved itself on top of Dusty's head. It's said that when animals do this, they feel very comfortable with you. The story goes that the little monkey was sent to Dusty by a fan, but she couldn't keep it because of her busy schedule.

Looking at the photo of the 'luverly pair' , as she herself called them, taken in 1963, my first thought was, 'You're the luckiest man on Earth at that moment .

I loved the FP article; what an amazing time (both good and bad) he must have had with our Dust! Can't wait for the next part!
