I don't think she sounds anything like Dusty, although I understand how people make the comparisons between looks and style. I do really like her album though.

Posted - 04/01/2009 : 18:53:54 I'm listening to two CDs that I got for Christmas, both by Katy Setterfield. Moments of Pleasure and her self entitled one, love them both, perhaps Moments of Pleasure where she is herself is my favorite.

Posted - 24/12/2008 : 03:00:09 Lol, I think we're going to get along just fine, Kit Cat :)!!! I adore CCR, I grew up listening to them, like, from birth. My daddy loves them, they're one of his favorite bands. His favorite CCR song is Born On The Bayou, which is where he was actually born. I mean, literally, the house he was born in (he was born on the kitchen table in the house)was right on a bayou. He's full-blooded Cajun. I like Have You Ever Seen The Rain but my faves are Fortunate Son, Long As I Can See The Light, Born On The Bayou, & Down On The Corner. I like Proud Mary but I like the Ike & Tina Turner version better. It's got more soul.
I am currently listening to Some Of Your Lovin' by the most beautiful, talented woman that ever lived :) :p

Posted - 01/12/2008 : 17:38:10 Sara, I have to say that you've made an excellent choice with Scarecrow!!! I watched Melissa perform it live some years back & she started crying about midway through the song, it was absolutely one of the most heartbreaking & emotional performances I have ever seen. It was just beautiful & Melissa was, naturally, amazing!...XOXO |
