Watch This Space - I have been sent some provisional dates from Katy........they are on an Excel document and I've got to fathom how to get it over here on the site!!! Panic not, it will be done later today  .

First time I was in the States was the 60's and Dusty's Look Of Love was a big hit, I also saw her albums there (Ohio), and subsuquently from the 70's onwards I always saw Dusty's records in the stores's in the States's. Maybe we knew which stores to go to but even now I can "smell" a Dusty record in most countries I've been in and it gives me a great kick to see her records abroad.
Even in a small town in Norway 2 years ago the record store there had about 3-4 Dusty cd's.

Yes no problem getting Dusty's CD now, but back in the 60's it often was difficult.
As for Katy, I just tried to google Pointy Dog Productions with NO luck. Perhaps it's something only available in the UK or even just Europe. I do regularly check for Katy on Ebay, that's how I found that Christmas promo CD.

Well she's got a brand new CD out, it's called The Collection and it's amazing. It's a compilation of Annie Lennox / Tina Turner / Cher and some other artists' songs and it features tunes from the second part of her current tour. I love it!
You can still see her in Stevenage on the 16th November and Watford on the 28th November.
Marty, I'll see if I can help you with any her other CD's. I will speak to her hubby at Stevenage. Hopefully I will be more successful than with the DVD (still haven't managed to put it on a DVD, it just won't work  ) |

The Katy Setterfield promo CD arrived in the mail yesterday. I've played it about three times. It's just one song called "Come Home For Christmas". Not familar with the song; wondering if it could be an original. Doesn't sound all that Christmasy with the exception of the choir singing in the beginning and the end of the song. It's a good song and Katy sounds fantastic in it. I'm glad I made the purchase. Wish I could get my hands on more of her CDs. It's even harder than getting Dusty in the US, LOL!

Found this on ebay. Does anyone know about it? Looks like Katy has a Christmas album? Any idea of the tracks?
I almost hesitate in posting this fearing someone will beat me too it, LOL! I emailed the seller with an immediate response, saying they really did not know, but like me from the title they are assuming it is.

Hi Hajni.
It was great to meet you. It's always good to meet someone you sort of know but have never met before, if you know what i mean.
I've got your name spelt right this time, it's my clumsy fingers.
Katy said that she will be returning next year, i do hope so.
She is a fantastic person.
I'm trying a different thing this time to post a couple of photos, so hoping it will work. The one with Katy and me is a bit blurry as my daughter was having problem using my camera.
This is along the lines of my original post of last night before i somehow deleted it.
It had been quite a busy day for me, as i was fishing a match up until 4:15 then had to wait after the weigh-in to see that i had finished 5th. Then had to rush home so that i could shower before my daughter (Nikki) arrived home. (I know what you ladies are like once in the bathroom). Anyway, after a bite to eat, and Nikki was ready, it was time to get to the Wyvern. We arrived at about 7:10 and i found Hajni to say 'hello'. We had a little natter and it was then time to watch the show.
The first half was mainly a tribute to Dusty(to be expected).
She was fantastic, but Nikki was waiting for half time as she is not into Dusty.
The second half was equally good too.
Katy did impressions of Cher, Tina Turner and Annie Lennox. It has to be said that she was very brave to dress as Cher, although the costume was not quite as revealing as Cher's. She sang a song in tribute to the late Michael Jackson too. Nikki enjoyed the second half, as it was more in her time.
The two backing singers (Julie Maguire and Claire Harper) deserve a mention and were very very good too. Not forgetting the musicians either, who were excellent. Katy has done well in getting such a wealth of experience as her backing group. Well done Katy.
The Theatre was about half full, i would guess, but all that went gave a Katy a very good reception and calling for more at the end.
After the show Katy came out for some autograph signing. Well done for that Katy.
So if any of you are in doubt as whether to she her or not, book and you won't be dissapointed.

I would never have recognised Katy, when we saw her she changed back into "Dusty" for the finale and came out to the foyer minutes after leaving the stage n her full gear.

Just a little bit green, Speedbird. How I would have loved to have been there, especially the night that both Madeline and Simon were there. Paul, I'll take the title Katy's #1 American Fan! As for Madeline, I'll go by New Jersey's #1 fan. Those of you at Dusty Day two years ago will understand that one.

Oooooh, I forgot to tell you something! Simon and Madeline were in the front row in Hayes. You should have seen Katy when she spotted them, hahahahahaha Classic, priceless moment. She later introduced them to the audience and they both got huge applause. |

At the end of the show Katy has always made herself available to chat with fans and friends who want to stay awhile . I'm sure you'll get your photo and autograph Paul .
