I didn't realize without speakers that it was all in German. Anyway, here's the translation (I have only translated the bit about/with Katy):
"Is she not.... hm.... no! Or is she really? If you actually think that it's Dusty Springfield on stage singing Christmas songs, you have got yourself a perfect illusion. The show is called 'Stars in Concert' and for years it has been presenting the world's best tribute acts.
Also arriving in Berlin, is the talent show winner Katy Setterfield from England who beside her job as Miss Springfield has come to have completely new impressions. Keyword: German Christmas markets.
'We haven't got anything compared to this in England. It is very different from Berlin. I have only been here for about a week but I am nearly broke already. So I have to be on stage as often as possible to go out and do some more shopping.'" |

I received a Christmas card from one of my colleagues and it was addressed to 'Dusty', hahaha When he gave our office 2 year planners, he told me the second one was for me so that I can fill it in with my Katy concerts
By the way, I haven't come across any new dates yet although I seem to search on google every day. Hm... Maybe Andy came on here and said, 'oi, those dates haven't been announced yet'. So he demanded a complete news blackout and I have been placed on the 'wanted' list. Katy and Julie will refuse to speak to me and the police will drag me out from the front row.

I'm such a jolly happy girl tonight. My footie team played a most awful game tonight but something has really really cheered me up.
I've got tickets to see Katy in March!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aaaw, poor Chris. Hope your son-in-law is feeling a lot better.
Can't believe the tour has finished but I understand the new one MIGHT start as early as March?? Yippie.
I was actually thinking of going over to Berlin but it would have worked out far too expensive and I should be saving up my little pennies (it would have been £600 for just one night for the two of us, I checked yesterday, it went up to £800 so I am sort of glad I was a little bit sensible for a change). And the most important thing: she doesn't do every evening so imagine spending all that money only to go and not see her at all.
Katy must be in Berlin by now. I hope she's gonna have a great time. |

How disappointing for you Chris - I was only thinking about you today as well . How ridiculous those train times. I used to work at Barnstaple in the early 70's and even then didn't rely on the trains on my weekly commute from home (Exmouth).
Never mind - lets hope you'll be able to see her next year as there will be a tour so I understand .
Hope your son-in-law is getting on OK.

Sorry Janie,Not able to see Katys concert at Barnstaple on Saturday.The last train back to Exeter was at 10.00 pm on Saturday evening.My son in law would have given me a lift in his car but unfortunately had to have an operation on his hip last Thursday.Had to console myself by watching a Dusty DVD on Saturday night.!

It was about 12 months ago now, if my memory serves me correctly, that we did the auditions for The One and Only...crikey, what a 12 month period that has been for our Katy!
