I got a new tattoo on my right thigh at the NYC Tattoo Convention yesterday. Here it is in progress ~
And after 2 1/2 hours, the finished product:
It's still rather red and puffy and SORE, but I am very happy with it.
Here's a shot of the artist, Kody of Outer Limits Tattoo of Costa Mesa, California.

Aww it's a shame, especially with it being in memory of someone. I guess this would be something that would be shown off alot had it turned out as planned.

OMG! It's the teeth!!! They just look WRONG! I bet that tatoo artist was dead good at doing dragon tatoos but that one is just disgracefully bad!

That's the one, Carole. It IS beautiful.
Since landing here in Dusty World (4 years ago now), that picture has been my favorite. I knew if I ever got a Dusty tattoo, that would be the one I would want - IF I could find an artist who could do it justice. Kody did better than I could have imagined. The detail she put into the eyes and the strands of hair amaze me.

Here's mine, 10 days old - almost healed. The puffiness and redness are gone but there's a bit more peeling going to be taking place around the left eye.

I've only just worked out that the tattoo is on her shoulder..

Carole - Here's all the info I have on that last tattoo. It is on an English woman named Rose and it was at the first Dusty Day (2000?).
