Neil Diamond is back on the airwaves with his lovely new single 'Pretty amazing Grace', and new album.
I must admit I have NOTHING in my collection by Neil , but I like him! His voice is very distinctive and he's very easy to listen to.
What do others think?

When Neil sings it now in concert he does it THEIR way! Infact he even brought their name into the song. |

There's a brilliant song Neil wrote called Dry Your Eyes, Frank Sinatra also recorded a great version of it. |

In addition to the songs mentioned that Neil wrote - he also wrote the song 'Red, Red Wine'. I love that song and was surprised to learn that Neil wrote it. Pleasantly surprised.

My Mum always thought Neil Diamond had the most sexy eyes . The first thing I thought of when I saw his dates at the O2 was how much I would have loved to take her to see him - she sadly passed away 9 years ago yesterday so not an option  .
I take it you won't be tempted to invite Carole to accompany you to a Neil Diamond concert then Karl?

ITV are advertising a forthcoming 'Audience with.....NEIL DIAMOND!

It's not a single Marty but an album called Home Before Dark, from what I've heard on the radio (it was album of the week) it's really good and I am awaiting my copy. |

Hi Trek, As we discussed at Dusty Day, I miss my mom too. Losing our Mom/Mum's isn't easy to get over for any of us. My mom passed on January 6,2008.
I only have one of Neil Diamond's CDs, but agree he is very good. I didn't know that he has a single out, hope it reaches high up on the charts.
