Apparently there was a mini solar eclipse this morning. Did anybody catch any sight of it? Afraid to say I didn't.....

Carole there was an article in the paper yesterday about this, we never get much of a chance to see them here as clouds usually spoil it.
It's like April here today with sunshine & showers. |

I might have heard this wrong but I think it was a near-full eclipse in some Asian countries. There was nothing at all on this side of the atlantic ocean.

Hehehe! I think the reason they said 'mini' was probably because it wasn't as visible as the major eclipse back in 1999(was it?)- I think everyone caught that one!
Bloomin' clouds got in the way though didn't they? ...oh well... only another 60 or so years to wait till the next one then...
