Thanks Clare.
Yes, I recognised two 'Bells' in that vid.
...And Yes, Brian, Mac was Katie's brother.

I think if I had not known it was Madeline Bell, I would have wondered if it was indeed her. IMO, her profile is more reconizable than full face angles. The camera never really have a close up to Simon :(
I might kick myself for asking, but who is Katie Kissoon?
I agree Brian red does suit Madeline.

Katie Kissoon was a session singer who was well liked by lots of top artists. She was also one half of the duo Mac & Katie Kissoon who had a big hit here in 1973 with 'Sugar candy kisses' (top 3), and follow up 'Don't do it baby' (top 10). They made the top 50 on 3 other occasions with 'Like a butterfly' , 'The two of us' and quite amazingly 'Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep' - which made number 41 in 1971, but was beaten by Middle of the road who took it to number 1. I'm sure this is one recording Katie would like to forget! Anyone know if 'Mac' was her brother?

I think I have this on video somewhere.
James Last's shows were always great, a truly wonderful atmosphere.
Wonder if Simon mugged Bet Lynch for the suit? (Coronation Street addicts will get this!) |

I wonder if I'll start collecting James Last albums one day... It's a very long shot but you never know... |
