Well I was just wondering Karl, lol! I've noticed that the English tend to do things completely backwards from what we do here in the states. Not saying that it's bad or anything like that (ya'll know I love ya'll), just different. I'd just like to know how they came up with the name Scotland Yard in the first place when it has nothing to with the country. Just curious......

The English do things backwards Bambi? Would you care to give us some examples?

It's the first day of spring, I believe it officially started at 1:32 pm today. Seems like Mother Nature got the word. Beautiful day in the 70's with a very slight breeze.

Thanks Marty! Hope everything is good with you.

What a lovely sunny, and bright Sunday it is here in my part of the world.

1. Why do they call it "Scotland" Yard if it's the LONDON police?

2. And I have always wondered if anyone like Tim Burton has ever been sued by a person who's taken hallucenegenic drugs & wathced one of their movies & gone nuts from it? I wouldn't award a drug addict anything for doing drugs & going to see something like a Tim Burton movie, that was their own fault! Still, there are retarded judges out there. A judge actually let a woman sue GOD at one point. And one judge awarded one woman damages from McDonald's after spilling a cup of coffee on herself! She sued them because they didn't warn her the coffee was hot! So she sued THEM! And WON! Wtf?

So you see my point? I wonder if anyone's ever tripped acid & saw a trippy movie that was basically a sober acid trip and gone looney tunes from it & then sued, or their family sued them?

Bambi Scotland Yard could be part of the address!

I remember the woman suing McDonalds for servie HOT coffee, she should have been laughed out of court and Billy Connolly made a movie called The Man Who Sued God - it was on tv recently and considering I normally can't stand him it was actually funny and I found myself laughing out loud.

Looking forward to stepping back in time on Saturday, I'm off the the Black Country Living Museum. I've been a few times already, but you always learn something new when you go- will be sure to take and post some pics too!

Omg, you know what we had for P.E.? Lol, we got to run around the high school football field, lift weights, and we got to do trust exercises! We had one where our P.E. teacher, Mrs. Lane, took us all outside in front of the school. She paired us off in groups of four. One kid had to stand in front & another kid got behind them, then the kid in front had to close their eyes & fall backwards while the kid behind them had to catch them. Well, my best friend at the time was a smart*** & let's just say hitting the ground hurt. Alot. Lol, I did not build any trust THAT day!

Blimey Alice, I think I'd love P.E. a bit more if we'd got to do those things at school!

We had hockey (I was on my house hockey team) netball and gym in the winter; athletics, badminton/tennis etc in the summer. I didn't mind it that much, but I sure as heck won't miss the dreaded 'uniforms' we had to wear for it!

WHO DAT!.....WHO DAT!......WHO DAT SAY DEY GON' BEAT DEM SAINTS?! No, lol, I have not officially gone nuts. It's game day, Superbowl Sunday, and for the first time in the history of the New Orleans Saints being an NFL team, WE ARE IN THE SUPERBOWL!!!! Louisiana has officially become the Who Dat Nation or the We Dat Nation! Now for the ones who know me fairly well, ya'll know I ain't no kind of football fanatic. Still, I can't help but to get up in the excitment, the game is a way of life here, hell it's almost a RELIGION! Anyway, I am quite proud of my heritage & quite proud to be a "KajunBaby" from Louisiana! So I have to proud that our home football team is finally representin'!

WHO DAT!

WHO DAT!

WHO DAT SAY DEY GON' BEAT DEM SAINTS?!......GO SAINTS!!!!
