So how do you conquer /cope with stress?

Do you:

drink?
smoke?
pull yer hair out?
bite yer nails?
shout and scream?

All of the above?

WHAT?

A good dose of Walt Disney or Jim Henson will ease my tension, too.

If I'm at home I ask my partner for a cuddle.

If I'm working away from home I listen to music or watch something mindless on tv to try and relax and forget about things for a while.

I listen to music to cope with stress and I also like to garden--but its abit cold at the moment!

Going for a walk also helps me to collect my thoughts.

Oh and coming on here calms me down most of the time

I have been known to shout and scream too

Aww, Mary and Dion, that is SO cute I love how they have their own little personalities.

The kittens are doing really well. Mary is much more playful and outgoing than Dion. Initially I was worried that I might have to move them in to my in-laws' home because the kids unintentionally spooked them a lot with their usual kid-play. But the JB and Ben have learned how to slow down around the kittens, and the kittens are not as easily startled anymore.

Mary is hilarious, she is quite the entertainer.

How are the kittens? I've been scared to ask!
I used to pull my hair out when I was younger, don't do it, it's bad

I used to but I'm 15 months clean now.
smoke? I used to but I'm nicotine-free for over a month now
pull yer hair out? never tried it.... does it help?
bite yer nails? I used to when I was a child
shout and scream? No, I don't want to scare the kittens

Usually I listen to music or play with the kids. Sometimes I'll call my sister if I have to bitch about something. I like baking bread, too, because you can knead the he** out of the dough.

Rude words having a bath, alcohol, and going for a walk....

Go to Bed!......it's a kind of 'escape' from the stresses of 'real life'.......until you have a horrible dream, and that sometimes makes things worse!!

Though if it's too early to go to Bed I'll sometimes sit back and play the soundtrack to the Movie 'Gladiator', it's my all time fave soundtrack, and listening to the pounding Kettle drums takes away the anger/stress, and Lisa Gerard's exotic vocals towards the end really do soothe!

Hang out with a cat (or two) while listening to music or reading.
