Last night after watching tv I left the set on but was busy doing other things. I heard this boring repetitive music and went back into the room to see what was on,

It was Madonna in concert!

I watched it for a few minutes, she relied heavily on her backing singers who seemed to be doing 98% of the actual singing while she put the odd word in here and there.

The songs I heard left no impression as they sounded totally bland to me, imagine paying a fortune to listen to such rubbish!

I do have some of Madonna's cd's and she has recorded some good songs especially "You'll See" which Shirley Bassey does a great version of but last night - forget it !

I was just joking that I couldn't think of anything nice to say...

Ignore me... I have a peculiar sense of humour.

Now, back to the Lady.... Madonna.

.....Why?

Does that seem 'old-fashioned' anyone?

...I'm not saying anything at all.

Well she got a RIGHT tellin' off t'other day because of the foul language she used in front of her audience for a Radio 1 (I think). Bloomin' right too!- honestly, she is a mature woman of NEARLY 50, I do find it offensive for her to be like that, especially with her fans. I know some artists are like that, but even so, as my dear mother used to tell me...

'If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all.'

Does that seem 'old-fashioned' anyone?

Madonna is one of the relatively few Singers who has stood the test of time.

She's repeatedly changed her look, image and style of song.

I have liked alot of her songs in the past, and particularly liked 'This Used To Be My Playground'..

However, these 'dance tunes' aint my cuppa tea..and I think her act is verging on the desperate.

Sometimes its best to quit while your'e ahead, Madonna.

Madonna's got really sh*t!
I love some of her really early stuff, but now she's just recording rubbish.
Yeah, boring and repetitive describes a lot of the latest "music" perfectly
