I don't think that's right Matt.

Sporty Mel C had quite a few hits.

One with Bryan Adams..

By the way folks we haven't got to call them by their nicknames anymore.
So, 'Sporty, Scary, Baby, Posh and whatever Geri was called, was it
'Bossy'? are out.

I wonder what's in?

What should we call them now?..

I just watched a segment on one of those trashy entertainment shows that alluded to the fact that the Spice Girls wanted to do this tour to "say goodbye" to their fans.

WTF I thought they had already gone!!

It was a farce!
It seemed Mrs Beckham was the spokesperson. She stated they weren't in in it for the money(you might not be deary - but the other 4 are desperate!) - we 'owe' it to our 'fans'!!! - I DON'T THINK SO - most of their 'fans' sold their rubbish at car boot sales years ago, and obtained brains in the process
They are SO bigheaded (as well as flatchested) - they are CRAP - they always were CRAP - and they'll always will be CRAP.
PARIS HYLTON is intelligent compared to these 5 losers

The only ones I know of that were Spice Girl fans were pre-teen girls. They outgrew them long ago. Then again - what do they have to listen to now?

Anyone would get the idea that Brian don't like The Spice Girls..

I thought that at their Press Conference they showed themselves to be just as Bolshie and Loud mouthed as they ever were.

Yep, it looks like 'Lady Vic' is now their spokesperson..

'Girl Power' is now 'Posh Power'...

I'd hazard a guess that many fans also donated their collections to consignment shops. I see their CD's in second-hand charity stores everywhere.

Brian you make me laugh, you are so right...

I was 15 when "Wannabe" came out and I HATED them then and I HATE them now...

So Posh is now the spokeswoman for the group? It's common knowledge that she didn't sing on the majority of their records because her voice was so baaaad... She's always had a big chip on her shoulder because her husband is more famous than she is - look how she desperately attempted to forge a solo career for herself after the Spice Girls broke up. And failed miserably. Ha ha.

Oh, does anyone else remember them promoting THATCHERISM back in the day? If the music hadn't already put me off, that certainly would have.

Each one of the Spice Girls will have their own private plane, plus entourage.

This is while the rest of us are being made to feel guilty about taking cheap air flights...and the size of our 'so called' carbon footprints.

Talk about one law for the rich, and one for the poorer!...

It aint in it.

They have put on extra tour dates too as they have sold over 3 million tickets --Lord help us--the world has gone mad.

I think out of every singer to ever perform I dislike these group of idiots the most--esp the Posh one.

Power to the people you see Rhiannon! Its all to to with freedom of choice, ain't it? The free market. People making decisions for themselves. I don't like 'em (The Spice Girls, that is) but many many do, otherwise the tickets wouldn't sell. Now, you wouldn't want anybody to tell YOU who you could and could not go and see would you?

I get berated on here for paying a certain amount to see a singer with real talent and it seems others are berated for paying to see others without.

Pray tell us members of the DSN - who is it OK to go and see???!!!!

btw......if we're going to bring politics into it - look at the pop-world hob nobbing that a certain Tony Blair was involved in. NOW of course our Tone was a SERIOUS politician wasn't he?...and we're all paying a very harsh price for his 'seriousness' as well!

Surely no-one can argue in favour of any politician these days.

..and Tony Blair was worst than most when it came to schmoozing up to who he considered to be the youth icons of the time.
eg... The foul mouthed OASIS.

Do you remember 'Cool Britannia'? That didn't last long did it?

Its not very cool to invade a soverign country(Iraq) for the most doubtful of reasons, is it?

I notice that 'Cool Tony' is still getting his freebie holidays in Cliffs Mansion, surrounded by loads of bodyguards who we are paying for.

I wonder if Cliff lends out his mansion to any of the poor people from Africa that he purports to support.

I don't think so.

I have no objections to anyone going to see anyone.

Anything we said about La Sreisand was only in fun.

Anything about going to see The Spice Girls?... I hope someone from here does go.

Personally, I would love to see a review of their concert.

My post about them having their own jets, was just another way of illustrating the hypocrisy and double standards which surround our present day society.

Now.... we've gone completely off the hot and Spicy topic.

Sorry.

The newspaper reviews should be interesting, maybe Tone will get free tickets

DSN members can go and see who they want, when they want--its very democratic here! just so long as they buy their own ticket.
