Welcome princess ....great to see you on the site. Looking forward to hearing if you have any 'Dusty' tales for us. For starters, why don't you come on the site and introduce yourself?

Janie x54

p.s. How's about choosing an avatar for your profile?

Hi Princess--do you live near the rock? Welcome to DSN.

I see you write poetry--how about writing some about Dusty?

hi everyone trust me to do everything a--- about. i feel like i came over , ate all the food off the barbecue, went for a swim in your pool and then came upstairs and introduced myself. not to worry.........i always seem to do this and everything works out ok so here goes. i am a queenslander working in western australia. i have loved dusty - it seems- forever. my aunt introduced her to me when i was a little girl. she couldn,t believe that dusty was not black and every time we played dusty or heard her she would always say "just can't believe it." i don't think she could ever reconcile the voice with the white skin. uluru princess came about when i visited uluru when i was a teenager. uluru is so much the emotional and sacred centre of our land that when i was there i just wanted to cry, sing, dance, make a lot of noise, make no noise and so on. i felt like i was a princess of the rock and thus uluru princess. (might sound crazy to some and sane to others and that's ok). i am only in queensland for another couple of days so i will try to keep in touch but this is not always possible . thank you for your wonderful welcomes.
