As a long time Hendrix afficionado I was somewhat stunned to discover via Youtube that Jimi and Dusty had sung a duet (Mockingbird) together. Not sure if people realise this but Hendrix dueting on the same song with anybody is rare - I can only think of Buddy Miles on a couple of songs when Hendrix formed Band of Gypsys.

Be it live or in studio.

So I think Dusty is certainly the only female singer Hendrix ever sang alongside with ever and only second person ever.... unless another Hendrix fan knows otherwise.

Yes, unfortunately its a really bad recording isn't it?..But interesting to see that as a Hendrix fan you think Dusty was the only female singer he ever duetted with... Carole R xx
