Great pics Linda... I thought I was having a Migraine attack!..
Tere...The only reason I knew what a fife was.. from that childrens song years back.
'Soldier soldier, will you marry me, with your musket, fife and drum..'
And the 'soldier' keeps making excuses.
D'ya know it? You must be logged in to see this link.
I notice they've changed the word Musket to Knapsack ..
Probably down to the Politically Correct Brigade.

Soldier, soldier, will you marry me, With your knapsack, fife and drum? "Oh, how can I marry Such a pretty girl as you, When I've got a good wife at home?"

That's a CHILDREN'S song? Well, yeah...I guess there is a lesson to be learned. It does sound like a tune to be played on a fife.

Nice pics--thanks T & T Oh to be young and 18 .
Did you get to sing with Dionne, Teda?
I went to see Dionne in Birmingham last year, she was very good and her son came on and sang with her.

I saw Dionne in concert about five years ago.
She was brilliant...Singing seems to come so easily to her.
The only down-side was, the show was too short.
We thought it was the Interval, but it was the END of the show!..

Me and a friend got free tickets from Big Daddey a Radio host. So we got there at 7:00am. We met everyone while rehersed. I was so thrilled because every one I love was there. The Supremes, etc. Tere can put the Supremes on if she'd like. There was just a big concert at the Cow Palace, for the 60's. I was crying and Ms.Ross said stop crying. Dionne said I'm just as human as you are. You see I was overly crazy about this hold thing. I was just a kid. When I got into this business, I showed the respect they did for me. In this business I know what goes on. I hear it and see it. Dionne is wonderfull. Mary and Flo great. Ms.Ross well. As I know today how she hurt Mary. Thats all I will say. Love Teda xx
