LOL!.....It most certainly is Rhiannon!.....apparently most of the houses around Belgravia have been bought on lease as ultimately they're all owned by the Duke of Westminster (I believe his wife is known as 'Taffy') who's the richest man in Britain.......alright for some.....ain't it!!

Great pics and 'commentary' as usual, Mark.

If you ever get tired of driving, maybe you could be a London Tourist Guide??..

if you look closely you can spot two large bottles of Evian water either side of the front of the house.....provided by Maggie to keep the policeman cool I guess!

I'm just having a problem believing that those bottles just contained water...

I'm such a cynic these days!

Just got in from the Proms. We saw Prom 43 - Some of Grieg's works. I don't know much about classical music but it was a great experience even so. The Royal Albert Hall is lovely, I tried to imagine what it would have been like seeing Dusty play there:

The ceiling looks pretty cool too. I wonder if those circular things have anything to do with the acoustics in there?

That's a question for our Maestro, Jonathan.

Thanks for the pics Rhiannon!......one of my big regrets it's not seeing Dusty perform, but at least it was filmed.....Thank Goodness!

I've seen Handels Messiah there one Christmas several years ago, but that's all, I always make a point of watching 'Last night', and joining in on the old Patriotic songs, keep meaning to go to Hyde Park and join in one year, but it always seems to start raining!

Thank you Sara!......Canterbury is very similar to York in many ways, narrow cobbled streets, huge Cathedral, lots of tourists, etc;

I thought exactly the same, Mark.. Canterbury is spookily similar to the lovely city of York.

Absolutely fantastic pics!

Just one thing..
Was that Fred Elliott, I spied, leering at me from a poster?...

I thought he was dead!

Thanks Mark,

Rupert Bear used to be the childrens cartoon in the Daily Express newspaper...

Then there were Christmas annuals and suchlike.

I admit it..... I was once a fan.

As was, Paul McCartney...He says he was a BIG fan of Rupert Bear and his friends.

So, I'm in good company.

Stayed in Kent a couple of years ago and went to Canterbury--which I liked very much.

Hi Carole!.....it's just outside the Marlowe Theatre, I think it represents Theatre as an Art-form, I've seen pics of two masks side by side, one smiling for comedy, and one totally unsmiling one for tragedy, this one I guess represents both, it's quite big, I had to stand on tip-toe to peer through and I'm 6'4"!!
