Hello, I just recently joined the Forum and thought I would introduce myself.
I am 60 years old, married, a Midwesterner, (Mo.) and have always loved music. I remember Dusty's earlier songs in the 60's; however, I am sad to say, I didn't follow her music very much. I was more of the 60's radio music scene for that period of time of growing up.
I really didn't know that Dusty had so many different styles. I have just come to know and appreciate some of them lately. I have watched alot of her videos on YouTube. What an absolutely Beautiful woman; so much Class, and of course, s-o-o-o Talented!
One of my very favorites is K.T. Oslin, who also loved Dusty. She was very talented, and had a very short-lived career. Even though she was classified as Country, I think she was more Country Pop.
I think the site is a very wonderful tribute to one of the most Beautiful Women--in every way. We don't have music like her's anymore! Thank you. (Spaniel)

Great intro Lee, thanks!
It's fab that you have such a love for music- you'll find most of us do on here. Feel free of course to talk about your other muscial insiprations, as a collective group we do have an eclectic taste to say the least! It's wonderful that you are discovering more about Dusty, especially as you mentioned you didn't follow her that much during the 60s- I'm sure you'll be singing along to some more tunes soon enough.
Looking forward to reading more posts from you...

Hi Lee. Great intorduction - thank you for sharing a little of yourself with us.
Our tribute here only survives because of the interest shown by fans all over the world, in the late, great Dusty S.
As Emma said, do also share with us your other musical interests (non-musical ones as well if you like!).
We like to think of ourselves as a real community here and the many long standing friendships that have built up over the last couple of years are testament to that fact.
I sincerely hope you enjoy your time here on the Dusty Springfield Network.
