Hi,
And thank you for the welcome, Janie!:)
I hope to be an active and contributing member of this forum. I am a child of the 50's and grew up with the music of Dusty Springfield and many other "British Invasion" artists. In high school, I was a part of a cover band that did music of that era. We recently reunited and my interest in Dusty was reignited when we added "I Only Want To Be With You" to our repertoire. I am currently devouring her biography, "Dusty Springfield; Dancing With Demons" and every day another of her hits plays ceaselessly in my mind and on my lips.

Have you seen the latest Dusty DVD, 'Once Upon a Time' which is part of the 'Reelin in the Years' DVD series about the Brits Pop Invasion of the States?

Groovy, a chick in a band! I also dig the name, Paper Rain, that's very cool. I think that chicks in bands are just about one of the coolest things in the world, Daisy, & folks who love Dusty are even cooler! Hence our network :)
Anyhow, I'm Bambi, welcome to the Dusty family! Hope you love this place as much as we do. Got any particular favorite Dusty tune? Mine varies from day to day, lol, she sang so many great songs in so many various styles that I just can't pin down one of them.
