Well I had to go with Bambino as that was the first Springfields record I ever bought and the rest is history!

Bambino! I can't help it, I'm mostly Italian *hehe*

I wish this particular Christmas EP would receive a reissue on CD or in digital format!

I went with Bambino but it was a hard call!

I love Dusty and Rod McKeown singing "Baby It's Cold Outside". It use to be on You Tube, but I can't find it anymore. Too bad they never actually recorded it!

IMO, it also would have been cool if Dusty did a solo Christmas album.

Just a little side note here, Gene Pitney always talked about recording a Christmas album, but never lived long enough to do so.

I would go with Star of Hope. Dusty's voice on it is just beautiful and I really love the sound of the string section. The RPM issue On an Island of Dreams was labelled 'The Complete Philips UK Recordings', but didn't include this track.

As to Marty's comment about Baby, It's Cold Outside, the TV soundtrack recording of this duet did appear on a CD issued in the US in 1996. It was on a Christmas compilation titled Christmas In London issued by Laserlight with the catalogue no 12 778. I think I acquired my copy from DSB.

I wonder who designed this as it's not the sleeve used for Paul's release on Zone Records.

The label is credited as Island/Mercury. Perhaps cover art credit is given on the disc itself. I am tempted to buy this rather than download the individual songs, though I wonder if I would receive the CD quickly enough to enjoy it this Christmas!

Label info is listed under the product details :)

I did not realize this was download only, but I may still download the songs just to support the continued release of interesting Dusty products.
