Hello Everyone!
I'm thrilled to be a new member to this forum, and thank you for allowing me to join.

I have been a Dusty fan since the 70's, when I saw her perform "Windmills" on an American talkshow, although I can't find it listed in "The Complete Dusty Sprinfield". It had to be the Mike Douglas show or something along those lines. If anyone knows, please share!

Anyway, I have recently become an active fan again, involving my younger friends who really didn't know Dusty. I'm enjoying reading the biographies and listening to the many recordings Dusty made and are shared on youtube. I have purchased a couple CDs and a DVD so far, as well as 3 books.

I would like to travel to England for the next Dusty day.... do any of you do that?

I'm looking forward to catching up on all of the forum posts, and the posts yet to be made.

Thanks again everyone and Ms. Moderator

Breezy

Great to hear from you Breezy - it's a pleasure to see you on the forum. So thrilled you are introducing many of your friends to Dusty's music.

In answer to your query regarding Dusty Day. The answer is a big YES. I am personally very lucky as I don't have to travel far to enjoy the day but the Dusty Days draw people from all over the UK and as far afield as Australia, USA, Canada, many of the European countries etc etc!

Maybe we will meet you at the next one?

Hi Breezy,

At last a new member who has actually posted - how great is that?

As Janie said people travel to Dusty Day from many different places, America, Scotland, Wales etc:

I am glad you have discovered Dusty, think of what you have to look forward to discovering her albums and dvd's. If you don't already have it buy the dvd Dusty At The BBC as this is Dusty at her very best.
