Most of us like a spot of retail therapy occasionally..

...but there is usually something/things that you HATE having to go and buy.

With me, its shoes..I hate looking for shoes..

What is it with you?

Car Insurance (way too expensive for something I hope I don't have to ever use) and clothes for a "special occasion" (if I can't go in something I already have, then I don't wanna go!).

I don't like clothes or shoe shopping, I can never find anything I like and when I do...they never have it in my size or it really doesn't look right on me.

I'm the same way. I have a terrible time buying pants because I'm horribly self-conscious about the way I look. So, if I find something that looks OK, I buy multiples... usually the same pants in different colours.

Shoes! I hate looking for shoes, cos most of them are made from dead cow skin (yuk) and it's really hard to find ones I like. I mainly live in trainers, but I bought some cool wedge sandals for summer that are comfy, aren't too hard to walk in, look nice, and aren't made from dead cow! I ended up buying 2 pairs It's still too cold to wear them though
I hate supermarkets too

So what height are you, Linda?

I'm thinkin that you and our Janie would make a tiny pair of book-ends!

I'm 5'4, so really I don't have much to complain about. But in my family, everyone else (including my sister and Mum) are 5'8 or taller. So I feel like a runt.

I don't understand why I can't find pants that are the right length. Apparently 5'4 is average for a woman's height. Someone ought to tell the Levi Denim Company....

Our sizes used to be 27inches (Short) 29inches (medium) and 31inches (long)

NOW;

27inches are Petite.
29 inches are short.
31 inches are medium
33 inches are long.

I'm 5ft 7inches and 29inches is right
for me.

GAWD knows how tall the women are who buy 33inches leg length!!
