I think this may have been asked before but as this is our new home with new members let's discuss it again.
In which era would you like to have met Dusty & why?

I'll do it by years. Any time between 1963 and 1999 (God bless her). The reason? 1963 because I was old enough to be aware of her and appreciate the woman and her music...and all the time in between simply because she was with us....

Though I loved her in the Sixties, I think I would like to have met her most around the time of the RAH Concert....
There would have been SOOO much to talk about!..

Deffo the 60's,Clare Bear. I'll even go further and say specifically 1965,when my fave Dusty album "Ev'rything's Coming Up Dusty" was released. Dusty was young, spunky and seemed to be quite happy. Maybe had I met Dusty back then she would of sung "I Had A Talk With My marg"! In my dreams! LOL

I wish it was possible to meet and have a chat with her right now. She has come back into my life in a BIG way in the last 3 years and do I have a LOT of questions for her!

Circa '62 at the height of the Springfields era.....Dusty in her big skirts etc; she was like a breath of fresh air back then.....(not that I quite remember, but Sis does!

I guess it would have been great to meet her at any time, but if I must choose, Iīd say early sixties when she was just starting her career. And just to let Marg know, she would have recorded a song "Oh No! Not My Kat" (wild imagination is a bless and a curse).
Well, it might have also been interesting to be there when she was recording DIM too. "The Windmills Of Katīs Mind" could have been a beautiful song.
Love, Kat
