I was recently entertaining some friends from abroad. I stumbled upon a lovely pub in Wapping, London, basically because it was on the Thames and I could park outside on a Saturday! It's not exactly in my neck of the woods, but I like to travel!
So, as we all come from different areas of UK, can you recommend any decent pubs in your area. Either they have a great atmosphere, they serve nice beer/wine, the staff are helpful, the food taste good, they have a garden, etc.
I'm starting with The Minnow in Weybridge. The Fish n' Chips are fabulous, the staff are polite, they have a good selection of beers, and it's friendly.
Please add to the list.

The Anchor pub in Henley - mostly because of "Rugger" the chocolate lab who "works" there. Then there is Finnegan's Wake in Ealing. My experiences of UK pubs is rather limited. (Do "Hookah bars" count?)

The Dynevor Arms in Groesfaen, just outside Cardiff. Good beer selection, inexpensive meals, with a number of house wines just under £10.
The owners are called Paula and Paul

Maybe you should look into this pub:

It's somewhere in the UK... can't recall where. I guess you have homework to do.
