Thanks for the tip Julie. If you haven't got this album in your collection you should rush out to Asda NOW (UK members of course! ). It is a SUPERB collection of Dusty's work.

I just think it doesn't matter so long as more people discover her--esp young ones.
She is in good company anyway, as also in the cheap chart section were George Michael, Rod Stewart, Michael Buble, Madonna, Guns and Roses, Take that.

I found "Reputation and Rarities" in one of those large discount bins and I did a happy dance right there in the store. I was in a department store, which here in Canada won't stock Dusty under her own name. The only time Dusty is ever given her own space here is in larger CD shops... and even then it's not always easy to find her on the shelf, I usually have to order it in. I suppose that's because I live in the wrong part of the world. Thank god for amazon.ca!!

Dusty wasn't in the bargain section, they are promoting a new CLASSIC cd range and as we all know Dusty is one classy lady. Anyway I'm loving the cd.

I have a question, my friend wants to buy Dusty's greatest hits cd which one should she go for ? best wishes julie

'Classics and Collectibles' is really good And 'Am I The Same Girl' is a cool lil compilation CD, but get that one as well as a greatest hits one

I like the Silver Collection for the hits. I also like the Something Special 2 CD set for the next level down from the hits. These are my recommendations!!!

Morrisons do a good 'bargain' music secction as well, I'm told there was a Dusty DVD on sale for £4.99 - Ian can't remember the title but he said it was a black cover and since he got home looked and I haven't got it - I'm going shopping tomorrow!

As for the hits, there are a few compilations but The Singles is one of my favourites.

I get really ticked when I see Dusty in the cheap section too Sara. The last cd I brought was the BBC sessions which was $28 I think.... anyway, I don't mind paying that, it's just when I see the ALBUMS for $10 a piece...that's when it annoys me.
