Trek, this clip made my day, thanks!
I absolutely LOVE the '68 TV Special - I've got an uncut version on DVD but even if you only see 5 minutes of this show, nobody except Elvis will EVER look good in leather again!!

Elvis was most probably the greatest male singer of the last 55 years, and it's difficult to pick just 5 of his recordings, but here goes :-
1. It's now or never
2. Jailhouse rock
3. Crying in the chapel
4. Are you lonesome tonight?
5. A little less conversation (the re-mix from a few years ago - I thought this was exceptional)

What a beautiful song!, thanks for posting Carole T, yes, he looks good there, probably due to his recent Marriage to the lovely Priscilla and the Black Leather outfit was just right for his '68 comeback, not too over the top like his later 'Diamante' outfits!......Fave songs, let's have a think now!

...might be because they are the ones I have the most fun singing along with.
(I have been known to become possessed by the spirit of Elvis and burst into song whenever one of his songs plays on our Oldies Muzak station at work. (Gotta do something to keep ourselves amused.)
