So which is your fave Dionne song?
She has recorded many 'gems'..but I really don't think that 'Walk On By' can be beaten.

'Don't Make Me Over'..
and 'A House Is Not A Home' (but Dusty's is better ). I love 'Walk On By' though, and I really love her later song 'Heartbreaker'.
I probably love 'Don't Make Me Over' the most.

Although I'm also fascinated with her updated version of "Do You Know The Way To San Jose" which has been spiced up with a Brazillian influence. I have the album called "Dionne Sings Dionne" and it's on there.... a really fun album, actually, she re-did a bunch of her own hits with a new spin.

I LOVE the song Dionne 'hates'!....'You can have him' - I've loved it from the very first time I heard it, and it still sounds amazing today . Of the ballads where do you start?....the greatest ballad singer of all time in my books has recorded so many. 'Don't make me over' is number one, followed by 'Walk on by', 'You'll never get to heaven', 'Windows of the world', 'I'll never love this way again', 'Deja Vu', 'Anyone who had a heart', 'Steal away' etc etc
Dionne and Bacharach are on par with cheese and onion!

Dionnes Catalogue is like a fabulous box o' chocolates, in which there is not one filling that you hate...
'Spoilt for choice', is the right phrase, I think...
