I prefer Dolly's version - the original. I hate it when Whitney slides to the high note at the end instead of just hitting it.

Looks like i'm the only who is gonna stick up for Whitney......I've nuthin' against Dolly's voice, but Whitney has a 'power' that she injects into the song.......despite her 'ups and downs' I think Whitney's great!

Dolly for me too, after all she did write it in the first place (1973 I think it was!). I agree with andyp... that awful note that Whiney puts in at the end completely ruins it!
