As 2006 draws to a close, I was wondering whether any of you intend to make any New Year Resolutions?

....And have you ever made a Resolution that you stuck to, and didn't break?....

I regret that although I always intend to make resolutions/turn over a new leaf at the start of a New Year I never do. The reason is simple - I have absolutely no will power, I just have to hope that something crops up that will stop me going overboard with whatever. Alcohol is a prize example of this - the only reason I don't drink much these days is because it makes me feel so ill! Perhaps my liver made the resolution and never told the rest of me!!

Was reading about a guy who swam the English Channel though paralysed from the waist down.
He wanted to 'suck the marrow out of life'.
I liked that.
Think I will play Dusty a lot and go to more live music.

Maybe this person could have been your 'Man Of The Year' Jane?

1. To lose some weight
2. To try and cut down/give up smoking
3. To try and drink less coffee
4. To give up sex completely

I'm dreading new year. I always look forward to the year being almost over, and then another one starts.

Personally, i think New Year is the most depressing time of year. All the hype leading up to Christmas & then it's over in a flash

I refuse to make resolutions any more cos i can never stick to them.
I have no willpower at all.

My only plan is to make sure that next year starts a hell of a lot better than this one did.
Here's to a good 'un

I'm looking forward to next year being over again already. If it's anything like this year I don't wanna see it.

Now that my knees aren't hurting anymore, I want to ease back
into running - and run away from these 20 pounds that caught
up with me when I stopped.
