Marg has mentioned this on another thread..
But I think a question worth asking, is:
'Do you think the World is ready for a Female Leader of the most powerful and influential Country on the Planet?.'..
Would YOU vote for her?

When it gets down to it, I think there are still many people - women as well as men - who just won't vote for a woman for president, whomever she may be. Hilary's main flaw - being an intelligent, independent woman.
If the Democrats can't win after the present administration, they are hopeless.

Same thing with OUR Conservatives,Tere...But I think we'd just be replacing a 'Blair' with a 'Blair' If Cameron got voted in...
They are ALL useless, out to feather their own nests and secure a better life for THEMSELVES in the future..
Cynical?... YES! ...I surely am....

Political commentators have billed the upcoming 2008 Presedential Race as one of the most open on record. No wonder so many 'hopefuls' are throwing their hat into the ring,so to speak.Hillary first has to stave off the challenges from within the Democrat contenders - Barack Obama, being touted as the favourite... but even from Al Gore and John Kerry.

Sorry I strayed right off topic, didn't I ?!!
To be honest, I'm always amazed at how few decent contenders put themselves forward for the Presidential Race.... America is a great and massive country, and yet its always the same names which crop up on a regular basis. ...Its all about money.
John Kerry wouldn't and shouldn't be given another chance.Al Gore has had his day.The Clintons I suppose have had their day too when you consider that Hilary was probably the 'power behind the throne' when Bill was President.. So, Barack Obama...Never heard of him, but perhaps THATS a good thing!....
Having said ALL that, they may skew the vote in the Republicans favour again...
Who d'ya think will be their Candidate this time?

Well, the Republicans have got former NY Mayor Rudi Gulliani. He's well known and showed great leadership during the 9/11 attrocities.I like him... just a shame that he's a Republican.

Hilary didn't see Monica under the table did she? ...so don't expect her to manage world peace. Anyway, Americans should look to us and remember 'The Thatcher years'...that should be a warning...how we suffered then
