There have been thousands of dj's over the years - some you love - others you hate. WHO is your favourite dj from past and present?
In the sixties I thought Emperor Rosko was F.A.B and the number one, followed by 'Fluff' Freeman. Nowadays I listen to the radio even more Today's 'cream of the crop' for me is Terry Wogan, followed by Bob Harris, Janice Long, Mark Lemar, Paul Gambiccini and beleive it or not - Suzi Quatro!* *her Radio 2 rock'n'roll show shouldn't be missed.
I cannot stand - Steve Wright or Chris Evans! Brian on the dial

Well I USED to be big fan of Tony Blackburn, as he was the first DJ on Radio One etc...
Believe it or not, I once went to watch him 'DJing' in W.H. Smiths window, in Manchester....
Cannot stand Steve Wright and the crowd he has with him...
I suppose Terry Wogan still takes it for me, cos of the records he plays.
I like Terry Wogan on radio, but can't stand him on the television.
Does that make sense?

I agreed with you about Terry Wogan, Carole.
I don't listen to the radio much but I like to listen to Mr Wogan online, using the 'listen again' thing on the Radio 2 website. I love the type of music he plays and some of the emails he gets from the 'TOGs' have me in stitches. |

The late John Peel gets my vote. I used to stay up late on schoolnights to listen to his show on Radio One. If it wasn't for him I would never have heard of one of my favourite country singers, Laura Cantrell.
I can't bear Chris Moyles..... I can't believe he's allowed to broadcast such crap! |
