On a TV quiz prog tonight, one of the questions was;

What was Alfred Hitchcock scared of?

Well, you'd think that a man who'd directed films like Psycho and The Birds etc...would'nt be scared of much...

However, the startling answer to this question was; EGGS!..
Yes, Alfred Hitchcock was scared of eggs!...

So it got me wonderin'... Are YOU scared/frightened of ANYTHING?

...and if you are... would you like to tell us what it is?....

Oh go on!...Don't be scared...

Cxx

I can't bare to touch worms or slugs, or anything slimey!

I'll try to avoid Bees and Wasps, having been stung last year without realising what was going on! I sat on the seat of the Works van, felt this stabbing sensation in my back, thought it was something sticking out the seat, turned round and saw this wasp flop down....aargh!!

Chickens, Brian?

Iīm afraid of spiders, dentist, food with blue cheese and weird voices from the attick. Imagine if I was at the dentist and spider crawled on my hand while the nurse was eating blue cheese and weird voices were heard from the dentistīs attick.

Love, Kat

I'm scared of vampires... not that I bump into them very often.

I'm not awfully keen on 'lifts' aka elevators either.
I'm scared of them breaking down, and me being stuck between floors with 'strangers'.....
or even worse, on my own.

Dead stuff... dead bodies. Dead animals and insects too.
The thought that there may be more hell after we die.

I don't trust lifts either, I'd rather walk up 100 flights of stairs.

Really? You take the stairs? That's interesting. I can understand the fear of elevators, but I didn't realize it was so common. Usually I think the worst but it's more thrilling than scary. I can't get into an elevator without thinking "what if...", just the same as an airplane or a bridge or ...

When in a lift I must admit to looking around at who I am sharing it with --thinking about whether I would like to be stuck in here with these people!! They are probably thinking the same about me!!!

I always use lifts unless I need the exercise and then I run up the stairs!

I'm not keen on very, very crowded places.

If I was stuck in a lift, I think I'd die of claustrophobia...

Yes, staircases for me every time, assuming that I'm NOT in The Empire State Building!...

Cosmetic sales ladies in shops scare me...

They always look so perfectly made up, I'm scared of being hauled over, and being given an *unwanted* makeover!...(*Notice that I DIDN'T say un-needed!*)

The increasing incidence of violence towards children and animals in societies and the reasons for this. The dumbing down of so many aspects of culture. It doesn't so much scare me, but I am alarmed when someone lacks a sense of humour.
