For anyone suffering from dry itching eyes and sneezing fits, please pop down to the chemist and buy yourself BECONASE. It works instantly as an anti-inflammatory. Stopped my eyes feeling like golf balls, and let me enjoy 20 minutes in the park at lunchtime! Sorry for such a boring post, but the stuff really works.

I used to get hayfever really bad when I was in my late teens, all through summer, and it was SO annoying! Don't get it so bad now, but I used to take those lil Clarytin tablets.. they worked quite well

I think we most certainly Carole!, what with all the flowers and plants sprouting (though I'm not complaining about that!), I get a sneezing fit at the most awkward moments, it's like having a cold when you haven't! Thanks for the tip Nicky, I'm more of a tablet person when it comes to ailments, but I'll give Bekonese a go!

Good tip Nicky.
This thread could turn into medical corner.
Any more medications worth knowing about?

Righto, Back to the pharmacy/drugstore;
Someone told me (too late) that a medication called 'First Defence ' is very good at protecting against colds.
It comes in the form of a nose spray,and at the first signs of a cold..dry throat, sore eyes etc..you sniff up a couple of doses of First Defence AND your cold doesn't develop!
If the cold DOES develop, using this spray is supposed to rid you off it quicker.
Magic...or what?
Don't thank me....just GET some.
