Delivering flowers and cards for a friend:

Reading the other tributes to Dusty:

Long time Dusty fan, Chris (who came to Henley to spend part of Dusty's birthday with her) being interviewed and photographed for an article on special musical sites in the UK.

Journalist Andrew Smith of The Guardian:

Jane, Nicky and Trudy, part of the Round Table discussion conducted by Andrew at the Catherine Wheel:

Trudy, Pearl and Jen

Andrew's article will be in the Sunday magazine portion of The Guardian in approx 4-6 weeks.

Does the Guardian have a Sunday paper itself or does it come under The Sunday Observer? I don't wanna miss it when it's published!!

It must be The Observer, there's no Guardian on a sunday. I'm guessing it's the music monthly magazine?
Why do papers have different names for their sunday papers? Like sunday's Sun is The News Of The World etc.. I always wondered that.

Thanks T, a wonderful reminder, as if one was needed, of a marvellous day. I'll catch up with you as soon as I can re getting your bits and bobs that you left in the car back to you!

It was so wonderful to meet with you over that weekend, we all had a wonderful time didn't we? What a privilege.

I like that picture, also, Linda. It was taken by Nicky.

And you're welcome, Teda.

Lovely pictures Tere.
We shall all have to keep an eye open for that Guardian/Observer article.

Glad you managed to fit in a Catherine Wheel visit amidst it all!!!

I tried to email the pictures of Chris to him via his son's email address but I think he got it wrong. If anyone knows him, please contact me so I can get him the pictures.

I received this from Andrew Smith of The Guardian this morning ~

Sorry this has taken so long. With a piece like this one, which has
no specific 'peg' (in the sense of a date by which it must run or
become irrelevant), publication dates can shift around a lot, as more urgent things come up.

BUT - we finally have a publication date, which is this coming
Saturday, August 4. Can you let the crew know?

Thanks again for your help Tere, Andy and I had a lovely time doing
this piece, and Henley stands out as one of the most enjoyable times. I hope you and the others are all extremely well, and that the article does you all justice (funnily enough, I struggled most with the Dusty section, just because there was so much i wanted to get in, and not enough space to do it - ended up re-writing it several times!).

Thanks T...I've actually set up a separate thread with the publication date on - no excuses for anybody missing it now!
