Yes those nodes are very common aren't they Teda?...I think Elton John, Rod Stewart and Sean Connery have ALL had that operation.

Julie Andrew's voice was NEVER the same after her op, was it?...

I suppose the doctors prefer to remove the nodes just in case they develop into something nasty.

Tragic that Timi Yuro would die of Throat Cancer...

Some interesting comments here. Sheena Easton had a average voice and was in the right place at the right time recording with Prince, and doing the Bond theme.

Timi Yuro had a great voice, she died far too young.

Yes it is common. Julie won't sing. She has written childrens books. When Timi got the cancer in her throat they removed her voice box. This is known. Timi became a maid and worked in Las Vegas. This would be tough for any singer. Love Teda xx
