Synopsis:
Writer/director Anthony Innéo is not only haunted by Dusty Springfield, the legendary pop singer, but theorizes that most other modern Americans are, too. That was the inspiration for his concert theater piece, All Her Faces, A Portrait of Dusty Springfield, which attempts to conjure the blue-eyed, white lady of soul back to life through her songs. The show depicts a young man, Jesse, coming to grips with Dusty's magic by recreating her songs. When Jesse discovers his father's collection of Dusty Springfield 45's, he puts down his iPod and he and his dad embark on a journey that will bring them closer to her than either one could have ever imagined. The concert features 20 Dusty Springfield songs, to be will be performed live by a cast of four, accompanied by piano and synthesizer, percussion, acoustic and electric guitars.

La Mama is a long established experimental theater in New York's East Village - I can't even imagine this show.

When Jesse discovers his father's collection of Dusty Springfield 45’s, he puts down his iPod
and he and his dad embark on a journey that will bring them closer to her than either one could have ever imagined.

Featuring some of Dusty's best and least known songs, the "romantic fantasy" All Her Faces,
A Portrait of Dusty Springfield goes far beyond biography to look behind the stories and memories surrounding one of pop music’s great voices and personalities.

Along the way, All Her Faces seeks to unveil the musical and emotional truth underlying the woman, her music and the magic that attracted legions of fans for decades.

Fans of Dusty Springfield as well as those who've only heard of her legendary contributions throughout the 60’s and 70’s will not want to miss this opportunity to take a closer look at
– all her faces.

ANTHONY INNÉO (producer, director, writer, actor and singer) has been trained by Sandy
Meisner, Bob Modica, Uta Hagen, Mira Rostova, Lehman Engel, Terry Schreiber and Philip Burton (Richard’s father) for classics. He has starred on Broadway as “Zach” in A Chorus Line, as well as London, Hawaii and on tour with Donna McKechnie. Off-Broadway, his roles range from “Polo” in A Hatful Of Rain, to “Lucky” in the original production of Dames At Sea. He’s been prominently featured in roles on As The World Turns, All My Children, Guiding Light, One Life To Live, and Law and Order – SVU. He is also starring in a will-it-ever–be-released independent film, Ingrid

As a playwright, he’s adapting his play The Center Ring, which was successfully produced in LA, into a musical and is presently searching for a composer/lyricists like Kander and Ebb or Harnick and Bock. His play Evaluating Woody was produced by From Now On Productions and SCRIPTS UP! Inc. at the Mint Theatre.

As a producer, his passion is to take All Her Faces – A Portrait of Dusty Springfield into a cozy home Off-Broadway where it will run forever. Well… at least as long as Phantom. And he’ll talk to anyone who’s willing to invest. So - whether producing, directing, performing or writing, Anthony’s bio is “To Be Continued

No, I won't be going to see it. I live in Vegas now, haven't been to New York in ages.

The thing is, I've seen a few shows at La Mama's over the years, mainly because friends were taking part. All these shows were awful - I really do loathe off-off-off-off-off Broadway - I don't see the point.

But maybe Dusty will give them some class - can't really go wrong with an evening of her songs.

Yes, the hot season is upon us. Luckily, my building has a pool. Come to think of it, every building here has a pool.

I live in Vegas because I'm a shallow girl. Actually New York got to be too expensive.

I did some pretty interesting things in Vegas. First I did comedy. I was a regular at Debbie Reynold's casino and got drunk with her several times till dawn - she's a gas and contrary to her image, very, very wild. Then I did a radio show. Then I worked as a phone girl for escort agencies - dispatched the most expensive call girls in the world to casinos and listened to their stories till dawn - now that was really interesting and lucrative. Now I mainly play poker for a living.

It's an ordinary life.

I have to say that the only FLUSHES I am familiar with these days are those associated with age. Enough said!

Dear Ms. Nudist...
You have me intrigued..You say you 'did' comedy and you 'did' a radio show.. what does 'did' mean, in this context?..

Debbie Reynolds like Doris Day has a 'girl next door' image.. I used to love her song...Tammy'...

I still do the occasional comedy gig - I'm a photographer turned comic.
