If you look a the above link you will see who Harry Goodwin is...
Until this morning I had never heard of the man.
He was talking on our local Radio Station( Manchester,) about the huge number of photographs he took of all the stars in the Sixties...
Mainly those who appeared on Top Of The Pops when it started out from a dilapidated old church in Ardwick Green Manchester.
His collection of John Lennon Pics will be put on show at The John Lennon Airport ,Liverpool from Friday.
I was very interested in all this, as it was 'Sixties' talk, and just up my alley, I was hoping of course that Dusty MAY be mentioned.
Well, just as it was time for the 8.30am News bulletin,the Interviewer/ presenter said...
"Join us after the news, when Harry will tell us how he was once chased down a corridor by Dusty Springfield, naked"...
So I'm thinkin..."So was Dusty naked, OR Harry?, can't miss this!.."
Anyway, they came back after the News and rabbitted on about this and that, and THEN.. The Presenter said..
"So, whats this story I hear about Dusty Chasing you down a corridor ,naked?"...
To which Harry said rather coyly .."Oh I can't tell you about that, People will just HAVE to buy the book"...
So, there I was, left without an end to this fascinating story..
But the mind still boggles, don't it?
