Watched it, had the cry. First time I've seen this--isn't it great. You know this could be a single using this video to promote it!
I've always loved this song and I think she looks so relaxed and great . Think we should make it sticky then it can be watched every day and it won't go down the board!

Very emotional effect on me too.
Seeing Dusty looking so relaxed and happy is a complete joy.
...and Richard Carpenter who I think cuts a lonely figure without Karen, looks as if he is thoroughly enjoying Dusty's company...
Mar-vell-ous!

I loved it too, though as I've said before, I'm okay with listening to Dusty songs from all eras, but I still find it very difficult to actually 'watch' Dusty, particularly performing the later stuff....does anyone else feel that way?

I've always found it difficult to relate to her later look if I'm honest Mark. I think it's because I still see Dusty of the 1960's when I think of her. Also, because she was away for such a long time we didn't see her changing as we all do, so it was quite a shock for me when she reappeared. She opened her mouth to sing and I heard Dusty but didn't 'see' Dusty. Its just me, daft as ever, but that's what I feel.

I think the reasons her appearance changed so much also had a lot to do with different make up and hair, but I agree she spent a lot of years away from the public eye, so the change in her appearance would have been more noticable..

She looks better in this video though, than how she looked in the What Have I done To Deserve This video. They must have been made only a few months apart.

She also had a nose job didn't she when she first went to the States? Certainly her profile was different. Then of course after her incident with the teeth and whatnot it did radically change her facially - obviously makeup will play a part but 'physically' she was very different. Add to that the natural ageing changes = a Dusty I didn't recognise!

This is the first time I saw this video, also. It is wonderful! Dusty does look very natural and relaxed, I agree.

Forget the song then, Marg - look into the woman's eyes. That's what made me feel a bit emotional. I'm just a plain sentimental Jane, that's me name....somebody even said she had 'Come To Bed Eyes'

This clip makes me wonder what it would have been like to actually meet Dusty... I canīt get my mind around it. I would have fainted, giggled, blabbered and turned into a speechless mummy at the same time.
Love, Kat
