Well Loony we can only go to Ilkley Moor if there are crops of sprouts to be picked..

You see, Trek need to get them simmering on the backburner, she's running a trifle late this year, and we do NOT want her to have a panic attack...

So we go to Brussels, and THEN Ilkley Moor with or without hats...

PEN xx

PS There is a small chance we'll be 'frisked' whilst boarding the Midnight Gravy Train... ( We can but hope)...

Speaking of trifle, do we have enough sherry?
Brussels sounds delightful, do we get free alcohol, or is nothing worth fighting for?

To enable all 'needs' to be met on this trip, I've booked us OUT on Eurostar, and BACK by boat (ferry).
This way you can bring all the booze back you like Loony, and there is a good chance of some 'frisking' before boarding. If this doesn't happen, there's always 'friggin in the riggin'.
Of course as an added bonus, you can bring as many sacks of sprouts back on the ferry too. We embark at Dunkirk, so it will be like the D-Day landings in reverse. Please bring KWELS.

My goodness me!....Anyone could be forgiven for assuming that we are sprouting a Sprout fetish....

To be honest....I'm not that keen.

However, I will choose The French menu....

'I've ALWAYS wanted Frogs legs...My parents couldn't understand it, but just think how high I could've jumped?!

I'm abit concerned about the strained coffee though...How does that work?

Nevertheless, the Marshmallows in Sprout Puree 'Sold' it to me...

Do I owe you anything for the deposit, Toots?...

PEN....Not so green as she's sprout looking...

Your concentration 'skills' are beginning to worry me - WE GO ON SATURDAY -from Waterloo International at 10.23am. There is likely to be a frost that morning so please wear a beret and high boots as we will be 'treking' (no pun intended!) those sprout fields when we get there. Saturday night will be 'a night on the town' in Brussels, which as you know could be exciting.
We catch the ferry back fom Dunkirk at 11 on Sunday morning...and all things going well should arrive in Ilkely sometime around the start of Antiques Roadshow.

Well I'm off to do my packing--big day tomorrow.
See you all on the station platform bright and early.
I'm also bringing a n empty case for a few bottles of medicinal wine.

Frost?!...So its Winter drawers on, tomorrow...

I'm hoping to make it in time,10:25 wouldn't be a problem but 10:23? ..
I could be cutting it fine.

I can only find green wellies so with that and my green pacamac,
I'll be well camouflaged in the Sprout Fields..

Anyway better get some shut eye.
See you imminently, if not sooner...

PEN.

We zoomed under the tunnel.

There was abit of a panic when half way through I said, I think I can see the sea. Can't think why

However, we are knee deep in sprouts at the moment, but we seem to have lost Pen. No doubt she will turn up when we get to the booze supermarket.

Sprouts fields are so much more interesting that tulips.

It's nice here in Belgium isn't it? They seem just like us!
My hessian bag split with the weight of sprouts, so I had to fill my pockets and stuff some down the front of my trousers
I suddenly became popular for no apparant reason, and had to make a run for the tour coach, where I sit now waiting for the others to return. As luck would have it I brought my portable radio, so I'm listening to SP-FM which is a talk show about sprouts ...life can be so interesting at times

Brian, get back off the bus, we NEED you.
Trek is being accused of being pro-sprouts, which is unfair on sprouts due to new EU legislation which frowns on favouritism.
If this goes on much longer I'll have to call in a favour from Vernon the sleazy T-shirt printer so we can all wear 'Green Beans R Us' on our backs.
Where's the freedom of speech I ask??

I tried to calm them Belgies down...I dangled a carrot to show we like all veg, but I'm not sure it's worked. Pen is absent (getting 'hyper' in the hypermarket no doubt)...so we are relying on Loony and her ability to get rid of vermin, and hopefully angry Belgies (are they CALLED this?).
Trek really is not helping her case by singing '99 Luftballoons' in a German accent

It's all going pear shaped (oh dear, that's a fruit). I am laying traps and poison all over the place but Pen and Trek duetting with 'pack up your Brussels in your old kit back' has pushed some beurocrats over the edge.
Does anybody have any garden peas?

Well after seeing Toots with sprouts shoved down his trews I now Know the secret of Linford Christie's Lunchbox....

I think they call Belgium people 'Belches' its because they eat far too many sprouts!...

Where the'eck is that tour bus?!
