Last night I watched Larry King interivew Eric Clapton. Is anyone planning to buy his book or his CD that was just released this past week? (Well, it was released here anyways...) The interview was fascinating. I always prefer interviews with people who have lived through a lot, rather than interviews with individuals who are young and naive and prove themselves contradictory.
I've been debating whether to buy it or wait for it to be available at the library. Or maybe Santa will bring it, Christmas is two months away.
If anyone knows whether or not the book is worth buying now, please let me know!
Linda

Not read the book Linda, but just as an aside. Eric Clapton is strongly featured in the Patti Boyd biography,'Wonderful Today' released just a couple of months ago.
It'd be interesting to read his take on their affair, after reading hers.

The Sunday Times are printing extracts of his biography. It's quite amazing he's still alive! There's a very sad but funny incident he describes about going fishing, but in pure Eric fashion, he's drunk and stonned, and he trips over his fishing rod and breaks it, much to the embarrassment of the other fishermen sitting on the opppsite bank.

My mum nearly called me Layla after that song, but Dad said no, so now it's my middle name

Are we just talking solo Clapton radio hits?
His version of "I Shot The Sheriff" was a hit.
Does Cream count as Clapton, because they had a few...

Oh Yea... 'I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the DepUtee'
I'd forgotten that one Astro, it was pretty good at the time.
Never took much notice of Cream.

Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love" was a staple at our high school dances!
