Life can be confusing and difficult at times!
May I be the first one to hear a Dusty song on this thread?....'Bring him back' blasting out of my record player - right now
..even my neighbours can hear it

"I Just Fall In Love Again" and "Brand New Me" are still getting once-a-day play on our sat-music system at work.

A "Son of a Preacherman" double-header day! On WCBS radio from NYC and on the sat-radio station at work.

On arriving home from Henley today at 5.30pm I pulled up in the car park and ejected my Dusty CD which was playing YDHTSYLM at the time only to find it still playing Completely by chance Radio 2 were playing it at the same time!!

Don't know what programme it was but it was quite bizarre to have it continue playing AFTER I'd taken the CD out of the stereo!!!!!

'Some of your lovin' played by Bob Harris just after midnight on Saturday.
It was preceeded by Shelby Lynn and followed by Bettye LaVette!
(it was a very good 12 minutes )

No, I haven't Sara... But I wouldn't mind reading it.

He wrote the foreword to 'The Complete Dusty Springfield' too.

I remember seeing a programme about Dale and they were in his house.

I noticed a book about Dusty on the coffee table.

I have never seen that book cover anywhere else.

I like Dale... He's a terrific chap.

YDHTSYLM on SOTS this morning.
It was an interesting prog today cause the tracks played were linked up.
For eg Melting Pot by Blue Mink was played which of course has the great Madeline Bell singing and this was linked to Dusty as Brian said she was the main backing singer for Dusty.

After that he played Elvis singing Return To Sender cause Elvis recorded YDHTSYLM!

Had a huge plate of sardine curry while the BBC DVD was on, 1st and 8th September. Doesn't get any better (except when opening the tonic water and it goes all over the kitchen). 'Bring Him Back'...YEAH!
