| In tonight's episode of The Royal Dusty could be heard in the background of one scene singing Spooky, considering the show is set in the 60's and that record was released in 1970!!! |

I was watching this movie with Leonardo DiCaprio in it last night called "Catch Me If You Can", a true story that was set in the 60's, & he was in a hotel hallway. He looked across the hall & saw this supermodel (played by Jennifer Garner), & The Look Of Love started playing!
"I don't know what it is that makes me love you so/I only know I never wanna let you go/You started something/Oh can't you see/That ever since we met you had a hold on me/It happens to be true/I only wanna be with you" |

Indeed it is not, whoever chooses the music for the show did not do their homework, if they're gonna do a show and make it authentic 60's then get it right - that's what I say!!!!! I mean what will they play next week, In Private? !!!!!!! |

IOWBWY played in Woolworths today...I was looking at shampoo (coz the one I use now is just ruining my curls! ) and I heard the intro, I just went "DUSTY"... funnily enough so did the woman standing next to me. I thought it was a nice moment...

Yesterday I had two in one day! Firstly, Chris Tarrant played Son Of A Preacher Man, and then later on in the day In The Middle Of Nowhere got played too!
Today, Little By Little has just got played! Talk about a Dusty weekend .

Woke up to SOAPM on Tony Blackburn's show this morning, followed by IJDKWTDWM on Chris Tarrant's show about an hour later!
I don't know about the rest of you, but for me, I can go days without hearing Dusty on the radio (excluding me playing records etc)and then suddenly like buses I get a flurry all at once!

I thought that myself t'other day Em - than I realised I hadn't turned on the radio!
Seriously though, I don't feel there have been so many on air in recent weeks - maybe for a while there we were being spoilt

| I heard "Spooky" this evening in JCrew! I always make sure to hum/sing along so that people who may not be familiar with Dusty's music recognize that someone knows and appreciates the songs *hehe* |
