Goodness has nobody heard Dusty on the radio since my last post?????
I heard Son Of A Preacherman on the radio a few days ago and today Michael Ball played Wishin' & Hopin' and added how great Dusty was, the record was on when I switched his show on so I don't know what he said at the start. |

As we know Dusty has had soooooo many great, playable songs - the radio stations here in the US (in the DC area) just play "Son of a Preacher Man". I rarely if never hear anything else on the radio by Dusty Springfield played except SOAPM.
Guess Who? |

Try calling your local station with some suggestions. |

Over the weekend, each time I have tuned into Heart FM on my mobile, I was hit with SOAPM! . I suppose it is quite appropriate that I tuned into that station, as that is exactly what Dusty did with her songs- sang from the heart! .
...talk about timing or what?! .

You're watching Pulp Fiction Carole?
I can't imagine it's your type of film, it's certainly not mine. |

| This morning I lowered the radio for some reason then went back into the room to switch it off as I was going out and I was pleasantly surprised when I realised what was playing as it's so rare to hear "ROll AWAY" on the radio. Of course I had to stay and listen to the end of it, so thank you Ken Bruce for playing something rare! |

At around 3:30pm this afternoon, Smooth Radio played 'What Have I Done To Deserve This?' . Haven't heard it on the radio for a long time, but there it was and oh what a moment! .

John Tesh played I Only Want to Be With You on the radio this evening around 7 pm, Eastern Standard Time. So nice to hear Dusty on the radio, it doesn't happen nearly often enough. His radio show is broadcasted around the country on various FM Stations.

15th July 2008- 7:10pm , and DJ Martin Collins of the London branch of Smooth Radio played,'I Only Want To Be With You' . Afterwards he went on the say how much influence Dusty has had on so many musicians worldwide, and that her name is one that the majority of artists always refer to as being an influence! . Which is great to know! .

I've been hearing SOAPM a lot on Heart. Usually around bed time. Also heard IOWTBWY on Sunday in a mall.
