I have to reply to Keld's post just to set the record straight.

Amy Winehouse has hardly made a name for herself before she started messing up.

Dusty was an International Star and a household name when she got involved with drugs. by this time Dusty was in her 30's and should have known better. However, Dusty's "lost years" happened when she was in the States most of us did not realise what was happening until years after and by that time she was back in control.

I'll say Amy Winehouse, she has that special sound, her CD Back To Black is a masterpiece, what Amy does in her private life doesn't bother me, its up to her she is old enough to make her own choices, It doesn't bother me either what my favorite baker does with his life, i just like his bread.

It would bother me if someone I liked was destroying their life through drink or drugs. I didn't like what I heard about Dusty's bad years !

I don't think Dusty would have been judgemental about Amy Winehouse's lifestyle...I do think she'd have liked her music though... With Duffy coming a close second.
