If I'd had to guess I would have thought that the middle lady was Pat Rhodes.
However, I've only ever seen ONE pic of Penny Valentine before, and that's the one on the DWD book flap.

On first glance,I thought it was Pat too,Carole.
I've never seen a pic of Penny Valentine before.
If it is indeed Penny,she bears an uncanny resemblance to Pat.

Not sure who the middle lady is, but it looks like an early career photo and Pat certainly appeared like that at the time. I am not sure if Penny Valentine was in the "Dusty circle" at that time, so percentages would say that is was Pat.
The one person who would know is Douggie.
Douggie, who is it?

Penny Valentine was blond, but had a different fringe.

PENNY VALENTINE....
Who exactly was she and what connection did she have with Dusty? Does anyone know..Douggie? Was she friends with Dusty? I know of her involvement in Dancing with Demons, but that is it.

Penny Valentine was one of the first British pop writers of note, writing in the 60's for Disc and Music Echo and then later for Sounds City Limits, Melody Maker.
She was also the first female pop writer of the British press.
Their paths must have crossed in the 60's. Though whether they actually knew one another --I don't know.

Does anyone here know if / where I could find a larger version of this image? (Or any pics of Dusty in this performance wearing this outfit - I think she looks fab here, hence it is one of my faves) Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to paint the image and tiny reference pics suck!
