I like male singers more when they are a part of a band like Mick and Bono, but real favourite male singers because of their voice, not really

Paul McCartney (sentimental choice)

David as I understand it you can vote for any singer classical or not, one of my choices was Placido Domingo and he's not a pop singer!

The trouble is, when you leave it to see what others choose... Your own choices get chosen and ya feel like a copycat.

1. Dusty
2. Karen Carpenter
3. Eva Cassidy.

1. Elvis Presley.
2. Stevie Wonder.
3. Billy Fury.

I need to add Mick Jagger, but I really can't take any of the other three off my list.

Mick Jagger. Such a unique voice.

Whoops, I forgot Al Green. God, I love him, too.

Who started this thread? Bah!

No I think I'll plump for Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and anr - possibly Marvin Gaye but not with max conviction.

Re women - forgot Eva Cassidy - someone with perhaps even more control of pitch than Dusty and such a purity of tone.
