Oh sorry I haven't got speakers at work so I didn't realise she was being dubbed. I do speak German so I will let you know what she said, later tonight. 45 mins to freedom

I didn't realize without speakers that it was all in German. Anyway, here's the translation (I have only translated the bit about/with Katy):
"Is she not.... hm.... no! Or is she really? If you actually think that it's Dusty Springfield on stage singing Christmas songs, you have got yourself a perfect illusion. The show is called 'Stars in Concert' and for years it has been presenting the world's best tribute acts.
Also arriving in Berlin, is the talent show winner Katy Setterfield from England who beside her job as Miss Springfield has come to have completely new impressions. Keyword: German Christmas markets.
'We haven't got anything compared to this in England. It is very different from Berlin. I have only been here for about a week but I am nearly broke already. So I have to be on stage as often as possible to go out and do some more shopping.'" |

Yes, that would be nice, Janie. I hope you weren't referring to me posting my updates. I am only trying to help
ETM Limited who promote Katy advertise some more gigs on their website (http://www.artistsuk.com/) but some of these have not been announced on the venues' websites yet.

Your posts are gems H ! No, I was referring (somewhat tongue in cheek it has to be said ) to the fact that we haven't been advised 'officially' of much detail regarding Katy's projects for the coming months. I'm still waiting on detail of the post tour party !

Hello everyone! We're back from St Albans and I am still buzzing with the thought of everything. I enjoyed tonight's concert just like I have enjoyed every single one so far. Katy was AMAZING. I am everything but a woman of words so writing a review is almost impossible as it would only consist of words such as it was awesome, which is a word I do not like but it has to be the one that describes the gig and Katy the best.
She did the usual songs but she actually played two new songs! Hubby is already sleeping so I will ask him tomorrow what these songs were. I think the second one was called 'From A Distance'. Both tunes were great songs for Katy to sing and it was such a lovely surprise. I was secretly hoping that she would show us something new as a taster from the autumn tour.
Also, I think I counted 5 maybe 6 new dresses! They were soooooooooo beautiful! They were all the same colour but they were a slighty different style, still very similar. It was like 'new gown spotting' which was great fun. Do you remember the lovely cerise colour dress she had on when she sang for 'Oh My Love'? Now my husband and I can't agree but I am sure that dress came to her knees and her shoulder straps (is that what you call it.... brain's fried) were very thin. Tonight's dress reached the floor and the strap was different too. I am SURE it's a new one.
The Tina Turner bit was another massive hit with the audience
Oh yes, and Katy's new hairdo. I must admit that I was a bit worried when I heard that she'd had it cut. But my oh my, does she look gorgeous! It's a new colour as well and it just suits her so well. I think tonight was the first time I have seen her in the flesh, without a Dusty wig on and she looked stunning! Absolutely stunning.
I will show you some photos tomorrow, I took a couple so that I can show you all. That dress HAD to be shown because it looked fantastic.
It seemed like the whole audience stayed on to meet her which was great. We stayed very long because I wanted a photo with her and I was hoping to have a little chat.... plus I was having my fingers crossed that Andy would turn up too. And he did, yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I now have my pic with him as well, I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy
Katy showed us her German, which was very impressive. She is having a great time in Berlin, performing 5 times a week. She actually flew back to England yesterday (by that I mean Friday), and she is taking a 7:30am flight back to Germany in the morning. She's going to have to be at the airport in 4-5 hours, goodness me!!!!!!!!!! So my long suffering husband gave me a hard time for waiting around, but I just couldn't resist I will be hyper all week. It means just so much to me
Well I better go to bed now. I might as well show you those photos now.... Here you go:
