I found what I initially thought was just a dead crumpled leaf on the lawn earlier....turned out on closer inspection to be a dead frog!!!   A wee baby it was...bless , although I'm not really a fan of frogs I have to say. I thought to myself, 'that poor thing has croaked for the final time...'

Aww, poor kermit! I think frogs are sweet I rescued one from the middle of a road once, and it had a baby on its back that kept squeaking! I nearly got run over doing that.

There must be an in-between stage though mustn't there?
The tadpoles must turn into little frogs, ...and then they grow bigger.
Oh, I suppose it mighta been a toad carrying a frog?

That's what it looked like! A great big toad carrying a tiny little frog on it's back! I only noticed it cos it nearly got hit by a car I saw it jumping out the way. I couldn't tell if it was injured, it (well, they) didn't look it.
