Lovely photos Mark - thank you so. When I read the thread title I thought you meant the wisteria had been torched! .

Thankyou for these Mark.
Its the most fantasic wisteria I've ever seen, Having said that I probably don't usually take too much notice.
I just wish they'd cut a little bit around the Dusty Plaque.
I'd hate for it to totally disappear.

You're welcome everyone!......it was a completely spur of the moment thing, when I first visited no. 38 just under a year ago the Lady that lived there then said to me "you should have been here a couple of weeks ago, the Wisteria was lovely", so with that in mind at 7am yesterday morning I thought to myself 'right, let's see what that Wisteria is doing' !!
Walking towards no. 38......

Next time you go Mark, or anyone else...
Do you think you could take a pair of scissors and trim and manicure the Wisteria around the Dusty Plaque?...Please.

LOL!......not too sure if i've the nerve to do some trimming what with the neighbours so close but I'll certainly attempt to push the branches/twigs away if I see them encroaching on the Plaque itself!
(assuming it's still unoccupied of course!)

Does anyone know what the asking price is for this house?
Woudn't it be good if it was made into a Dusty museum? |

What a real treat Mark. Such beautiful pictures capturing the Wisteria. Very lovely indeed. If I were in England I would definitely trim a little of the Wisteria as to reveal more of the Dusty Plaque. I am just that way... really. I would also knock on the door and ask to have a look around... the worst she/he would say is sorry, but no... pandy063

Yeah I reckon that would be great! I don't know about you guys, but I would find it hard to imagine other people living there as it was Dusty's home- but I suppose you could say that about most houses...
Some fab pics though Mark, it's the first time I've seen it!

Wooow Mark love the pictures!! But yesss they should be trimmed back so Dusty's plaque is always visable.
Personally i wouldn't want all those flowers dangling down covering my house and windows..i would get rid of the lot
