This is the new album from the Australian singer who had a worldwide hit with 'Chains' in 1995. Several 'Dusty related' songs are included, namely 'The look of love', 'I just don't know what to do with myself','I only want to be with you' and 'Windmills of your mind'. Only 'The look of love' works, the rest being 'strange' to say the least! IJDKWTDWM starts off ok, but is so overproduced with gimmick noises at the end, it is spoilt. IOWTBWY is taken at a very slow pace - like Shelby Lynn's version. Shelby treated it with respect - this goes nowhere. 'Windmills' is taken at a bossa nova beat, but again is overproduced to an extent Tina has to shout to be heard. All three songs have abrupt endings too!...for no reason Along with the songs we know Tina tackles Diana's 'Love hangover' (only using the slow bit - not very well too), and 'Do you know where you are going to' which is turned into a power ballad losing the tenderness of Diana's original. We get Carole Kings 'So far away' which is just ok, Kate Bush's 'The man with the child in his eyes' (not a brilliant song anyway) and the weirdest version of Lulu's 'To sir with love' which is turned into something you'd expect from Joan Jett at a rock festival. I REALLY wanted to like this album, but it's proved a big dissapointment on the first few plays. PROCEED WITH CAUTION
