Thanks Dave!
I've always thought lip synching must be so difficult, you'd have to really be able to act.

Wow what a great trip back to the 60's! So nice to see Gerry and The Pacemakers, Dusty (goes without saying), Manfred Man, The Fourmost and the Honeycombs. I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks for your post Dave.

Karl, you seem like to remember this show, what programme was it?

Carole - could you enlighten me to what a "twinset" is

Well, at the risk of going wildly off topic, of course I can..

The classic twinset is knitted in wool or cashmere. Twinsets have been famously worn by Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe and many other feminine icons.

The under-sweater is usually worn tight-fitting and the cardigan is worn unbuttoned. This combination is often accompanied by a string of pearls.

The twinset is often deployed in films to indicate the character of the wearer. In modern usage, it tends to indicate conservatism or frumpiness. For example, Joan Cusack in the 2004 film 'School of Rock' wears a grey twinset, intended to indicate how conservative she is

Hope this helps...

btw, I don't own a twinset.

Thanks Frans!... This is an excellent quality clip.

Persevere folks!..

She is wearing what appeared to be her 'Reputation' trouser suit.

Saw her in that a few times.

At first I thought it was a cabaret setting, but then I spotted what looked like a TV audience.

The two people who appear at the end are Comedy Duo 'Cannon and Ball.'

I'm assuming, that as they were very popular at the time, Dusty was a guest on their TV show.
